Wedding Pizza Evening Food

Mobile Bistros will bring their pop-up pizza stand right to the heart of your wedding. We will cook all of the pizzas right there, so your guests can enjoy their meal hot out of our pizza ovens. The pizza chef will roll out the fresh dough, add Italian tomato sauce, add delicious toppings and fresh ingredients, and put it in the pizza oven to bake. The pizza will bake for about 90 seconds, then the chef will take it out of the oven and put it on to the adjoining buffet table for your guests to help themselves.

Your guests can choose from a great choice of varieties, including pepperoni, Margherita, Piri Piri chicken, ham and mushrooms, super vegetarian, and punchy pesto. The pizzas will be served fresh and hot, so your guests can enjoy them right away.

Mobile Pizza Van?

We don’t use a wedding pizza van. Rather, we have a mobile pizza stand complete with portable pizza ovens and chefs. Having a mobile food stall is the perfect way to cook and serve wedding pizzas. Our stands are equipped with everything we need to make delicious, fresh pizza for your guests right at the heart of your wedding. This enables them to be incredibly versatile and serve expertly made pizza from just about any location on your special day.

Why choose a mobile pizza stand for your wedding?

  • Unique and Memorable: Our setup isn’t just functional; it’s a centerpiece that adds charm and character to your wedding. Guests will love the novelty of a mobile pizza stand and the opportunity to watch their food being made.
  • Interactive Experience: The open setup invites guests to engage with the process, turning pizza-making into a live event that’s both entertaining and delicious.
  • Stress-free Catering: We take pride in ensuring that catering is seamless and worry-free, allowing you to focus on enjoying your special day.

In addition, our mobile pizza stands are completely self-contained and can be set up anywhere outdoors within your wedding venue.

Wedding Pizza Catering

What is the guide to planning pizzas for a wedding?

Your Ultimate Guide to Planning Pizza Catering for a Wedding
Imagine your wedding guests enjoying freshly cooked, stone-baked pizza served to a chic, food station. Sounds perfect, right? Whether you’re planning a wedding for the first time or you’re a seasoned pro, choosing the right pizza caterer can make all the difference. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you navigate the process.
Pizza for Wedding Breakfast or Evening Reception?
Decide When You Want the Pizza: Are you planning to serve pizza as the main meal (wedding breakfast) or as part of the evening reception?
Wedding Breakfast: For smaller weddings with around 70-80 guests, pizza as the main meal works well. In this case, consider a buffet style service where guests can help themselves to pizza slices, along with some freshly prepared salads and charcuterie.
Evening Reception: Pizza shines as an evening treat, especially after those celebratory toasts. It accommodates various dietary needs, from gluten-free bases to allergen-conscious toppings. Plus, it adds a fun and relaxed vibe to your reception.
Calculating Pizza Quantities
How Much Pizza Should You Order?
If the pizza is served at the evening party, ½ to ⅔ of a pizza per person should suffice. So, for 100 guests, aim for about 120 pizza sandwiches.
You know your guests best, so adjust quantities if you think they have hearty appetites. And remember, leftover pizza is never a problem—it can be boxed up for guests to take home.
Serving Style: Buffet or Whole Pizzas?
Which Serving Style Works Best?
Buffet Style: This is ideal for weddings. Guests can grab slices at their leisure, sample different varieties, and avoid long lines. This way, everyone stays fueled for the dance floor!
Whole Pizzas: Better suited for smaller events where service timing isn’t as critical. However, most guests prefer variety and the option to snack throughout the night.
A pizza food station adds a visual treat and can be a great conversation starter, keeping guests engaged and entertained.
By considering these elements, you’ll ensure that pizza catering is a highlight of your wedding celebration.

We bring our pop-up pizza stand and cook for your hungry wedding guests wherever you are. All we need is a flat surface, access to a nearby power outlet (helpful but not essential), and a 3m x 3m area that is safe.

Particularly as they are able to take as little or as much as they wish as they slice and help themselves to deliciously fresh pizza.

We provide biodegradable paper plates and napkins as standard and bring pizza boxes for leftovers. Unlimited Wedding Pizzas for Guests

Introducing unlimited wedding pizzas! Help your evening guests to help themselves with all the pizzas we can cook in a two-hour period.

We’ll have a wonderful time, serving up fresh sourdough pizzas with delectable toppings that will delight your taste buds. So book your pizza stand, ovens and chefs and enjoy this indulgent pleasure. There’s no limit to how much pizza your guests can eat! (see numbers below).

Typically, we cook 35 wedding pizzas per hour. So, with approximately 70 pizzas served as 140 pizza sandwiches, our unlimited pizza buffet service is perfect for when your wedding party has 100 – 140 guests.

For 140 guests, we recommend approximately 70 pizzas, ensuring each guest can enjoy half a pizza. This calculation is based on the assumption that each guest will have two slices. Our experience has shown that this quantity provides a generous and satisfying portion for everyone. However, we are always open to discussing your specific preferences and adjusting the quantity to suit your vision for the perfect pizza experience at your wedding.

Considerations for Different Meal Situations

Tailor to Your Guests’ Preferences

You know your guests best. If they’re big eaters or pizza enthusiasts, lean towards the higher end of the scale. On the other hand, if your event includes a variety of food options, you might scale down.

Minimising Waste

Don’t worry about leftovers going to waste. Any extra pizzas can be boxed up for guests to take home, adding a memorable touch to your wedding night while ensuring nothing goes unused.

With our unlimited pizza package, we’ll cook for a 2-hour window and serve deliciously fresh and hot wedding pizzas to a buffet table. Here, guests can help themselves, slice away and take away along with our plates and napkins. Should the weather mean that a table needs to be moved indoors, expect a slower cook as we handle pizzas from oven to table.

All of our pizzas are 10 – 11 inches in diameter, which is ideal for most wedding guests. We recommend planning for two pizzas for every three guests.

We bring the right amount of dough and ingredients to cook for two hours. Your guests need simply to serve themselves as everything is paid in advance.

With demand outstripping supply, we ask for a 30% deposit to save the date exclusively for you. This means that we refuse any further requests for your slot, once a deposit is paid. The balance is due one month prior to your wedding day.
